• Twelve  presenters will be on hand for the eleventh annual North Wildwood Beach Writers' Conference, June 4 & 5, 2013. This year's event will be held for two-full days...9 a.m.-6 p.m. 
  
  
  We are pleased to announce a new relationship with ATLANTIC CAPE COMMUNITY COLLEGE...Each participant will receive a certificate for CEUs from the college

Conference fee  is $125. 

Registration fee includes all workshops, coffee break on Tuesday,  continental breakfast and cocktail party on Wednesday; plus goody bag. Guests may join us for the cocktail party for $25. Deadline to register is May 30, 2013.

Writing contest:  Open to all attendees at no extra cost. Two categories: poetry and essay/article, limited to 1500 words total. Three prizes* offered in each category: $100, $50, $25. (*Based on a minimum of five entries from five different authors, in each category.)
Deadline for receipt of entries is May 20.  Entries are judged by an independent group of three readers for each genre (poetry and essay). Each judge ranks the entries in order from excellent (1) on down. Scores are tallied and the lowest scores win.

[*First place essay prize is the Evelyn Schaad Award of Excellence given in honor of Evelyn Schaad who worked with us for eight years before losing her battle with breast cancer.]

Manuscript evaluations:  For a fee of $25, you may submit up to 25 pages of a book or up to five pages of an article or poetry to be evaluated by a professional author in a one-on-one 15-minute conversation. Materials for review must be received by May 20.

PAUL DINAS, editor, will be available for 15 minute one-on-one conversations. Please send, by May 20, a one-page synopsis of your project for his review. Scheduling will be done on a first come-first served basis.

Give-Aways: Each attendee will receive a goody-bag at registration. Prizes are given out throughout the day 

Book Bazaar: Most presenters will have copies of their work for you to purchase. Books can be autographed by the author.
Attendees, who have a published book, are invited to apply for FREE table space at the Book Bazaar. Send request to nwbwc12@gmail.com and include relevant information about your book. Be sure to include the price. All purchases are in cash and you receive 100% of the sales.
